Who are we?

Dharma Friends of Israel association is a group of friends who study and practice dharma and meditation in the spirit of Tibetan Buddhism. Around the year the group invites teachers from overseas and organizes a variety of Dharma talks, courses and workshops in Israel.

Dharma Friends of Israel is a nonprofit organization. All the revenues are donations, and the activities are organized by the group volunteers.

How Much It Costs?

Dharma Friends of Israelgroup's aim is to make the world of Dharma and meditation available to whoever wishes to explore it. Therefore, all our activities are offered by Dhana (donation) only, relying on the generosity of the participants.

The Dhana has to cover the many different expanses of this most extraordinary visit of H.E. Ling Rinpoche and his entourage – flights of Rinpoche,  the interpreters, the secretary and attendant; accommodation; transportation; cost of courses (renting the spaces for courses and lecture, accommodation for participants, meals, sound and video systems, studying materials) and more.

In order to enable those who cannot afford it to take part in these most precious Dharma activities, we do not specify any price for the teachings.

After covering the expenses of this visit we will present the rest of the dhana to H.E. Ling Rinpoche as a token of our appreciation and gratitude for His teachings, and as a support for Him continuing spreading the Dharma.

During our 18 years of activities we were happy to discover that many participants were generous and donated a nice dhana that enabled others to take part in the teachings, to cover the expenses, as well as to give dhana to the teachers.

The dhana can be given in cash or by credit card.

We will be most happy if at the end of each activity you will donate with joy to the best of your ability.
